Dr.Vijay Koli M.D.

Dr.Vijay Koli
hails from Mumbai. He received his medical degree from Russia. After training in general medical and family practice in England and Scotland, he moved to Texas where he has been in private practice for last 29 years.
Dr.Koli has been an active member of Texas Indo American Physicians Society and served as the Executive Director of the South West chapter for many years. He is the first International Medical Graduate(IMG) to be elected as President of Bexar County Medial Society and to serve on the Texas delegation to American Medical Association in its history of 150 years. He served on the Executive Committee of the greater San Antonio chamber of commerce for three years.
In 2005 he was elected as President of American Association of Physicians of Indian origin(AAPI) and during his leadership a MOU was signed with the Government of India with regard to exchange of medical knowledge and expertise which was recognized by parliament of India.
Dr.Vijay Koli is married to Dr.Malathi, a practicing psychiatrist, and they have two children.
